Service Projects

August	School Supply Drive Benefits the Lilburn Cooperative Ministry Our scouts collected school supplies to prepare over 200 children for school. GREAT GOING GIRLS!!
September	Canned Food Drive Benefits the Lilburn Cooperative Ministry Good Job!!! This year, we donated over 80 pounds of canned and boxed foods! That's more than any of our scouts weigh!!
October	Sewing new blankets Benefits Project Linus and Newborns in Need WOW - we made 4 blankets - and parts for about 4 more - in just two hours..... and we learned how to use the sewing machine!!
November	Operation Christmas Child in cooperation with Samaritan's Purse If we keep increasing our donation like this - Mrs. Lila is going to have to get a bigger van! This year, we had a great time "shopping" to fill over 50 boxes for Operation Christmas Child
November	Toys for Tots At our Holiday Craft Event, we collected three huge boxes of new toys for Toys For Tots. We are so excited to be able to share our Christmas Spirit!
December	Christmas Toys for the less fortunate kids at Britt Elementary At the Snellville Service Unit Talent Show, we each donated a new toy to benefit the less fortunate kids at one of our local elementary schools.
January	Coat and Blanket Drive Benefits The Quinn House At our first meeting of the new year, we collected over 30 coats for adults and children and more than 15 blankets.
February	World Friendship Fund At our International Food Festival at Thinking Day, we voted to send out dues to the Juliette Gordon-Low World Friendship Fund.
March	Easter Basket Benefits Lilburn First Baptist Church Girls brought canned food and other non-perishables - not to mention all of the traditional Easter goodies and stuffed animals. We stuffed these into prettily decorated laundry baskets, along with gift cards to Kroger for fresh meats, fruits and veggies. The efforts of our troop gave three local families a great Easter holiday.
